Nowadays, backuping data are not that hard cause mostly Windows Operating System provides several ways for you. One of these is the tape back ups that always have a File Extension QIC (Quarter-Inch Cartridge) created by Microsoft Windows 95 and 98. Taking back up of your system is very important when you work in Windows OS because you have no guarantee when your system would crash so backup is a very important thing to do.
File Extension QIC website explains several ways we could do to ensure that we will not loose any important data. For business, it is more recommended to use these tape back ups with File Extension QIC. Professionals advise using three tapes. Use the first tape as a primary system backup and alternate two other tapes for maintenance. If the most recent tape has corrupted data on it, you can use the older cleaner tape to reconstruct the data without the corruption. Then just use the corrupted tape to back up the system again. Keep the old tape until you are sure the corrupted files are fixed.
